Our client runs a group of exclusive hotels and spa's across the Cotswolds. They have a fantastic opportunity and are looking to recruit an Assistant Spa Manager for their award winning facility in Cirencester.
The Role of Assistant Spa Manager
We are looking for someone who loves what they do, has a passion for treatments and an ambition to take the next step in their career. You will support our c;lients Spa Manager in the overall running of the Spa, as well as delivering excellent treatments and ensuring the training and standards are continually reviewed and refreshed. This is a hands on role with the opportunity to learn and develop.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include supporting the Spa Manager in driving the team’s performance, allocating tasks, developing team members (training essential) and supervising service (you must also be ready to muck in too.) This is a hands on role which combines delivering exceptional treatments, hosting Spa guests and supporting the Spa Manager in all tasks set. You will work to drive the department forward, implement ideas and ways of improving Spa operations stock control, ordering and team’s training requirements. You will be responsible in the absence of the Spa Manager and liaise with the Hotel General Manager.
The ideal candidate
Of course, good industry knowledge is absolutely imperative and previous experience as a manager in a medium or large size spa is preferable.
The right candidate will have a passion and excellent understanding of the Spa Industry and a therapy background is essential. Most importantly we are looking for someone who is positive, enthusiastic with high standards and attention to detail.
