​Our client is a leading creative arts and theatre venue based in the heart of Hammersmith.  They are currently looking to recruit a Bars and Catering Manager to join their thriving venue.

The Bars & Catering Manager will lead, manage and develop the Bars & Catering department to deliver the smooth running of the food and beverage offerings within the Theatre across the Bar and Events & Hires catering.

The post holder will be passionate about both food and drink as well as delivering a great customer experience. Through recruitment, training and management of the catering teams, the Bars & Catering Manager will develop an environment that is not only an unforgettable experience for its guests but also a great place to for staff to work.

Providing a range of food and beverage offers to all of the customers, events clients as well as the internal customers, The Bar & Catering Manager will play a key role in the planning and delivery as well as managing key stakeholders involved in the business plan.

The Bars & Catering Manager will bring a fresh atmosphere to the catering outlets by staying on top of trends and keeping the offer current. The post holder will be the face of our clients catering offer, leading from the front and engaging the Bars & Catering team to elevate the standards and experiences levels for the company's customers.

Essential skills and experience

- Experience of managing a front of house bar and catering team.

- Experience of managing catering for events.

- Knowledge of PointOne or similar epos, financial and stock system.

- Experience of training and motivating staff.

- Experience of cashing up and reconciling weekly takings.

- Knowledge of Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and HACCP regulations.

- Experience of ordering stock.

- Experience of financial processing and reporting.

- Personal License holder.

- Proven ability to develop strong partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders.
