Our client is a multi award winning resort voted in the top 50 places to work in Scotland. They have an exceptiojnal opportunity and are looking to recruit an experienced, dynamic and driven Business Development Assistant to join their team.
1) ADMINISTRATION - To provide full administrative support for the Business Development department, this will include a range of duties including responding to emails and liasing with business partners as well as maintaining reporting systems.
2) CHANNEL MANAGEMENT - To assist in the development of relationships with 3rd party OTAs and other suppliers and ensure they are maximizing potential. Ensuring rates with those agents requiring manual rates/availability updates are kept up to date. To assist in all aspects on monitoring and flexing rates on a daily basis.
3) ADVERTISING - To assist in the formulation and design of print advertising. To liase with suppliers with regards copy sizes, deadlines and pricing.
4)INTERNAL MARKETING - To assist in the formulation and design of marketing materials (brochures, posters, flyers, newsletters etc). To order print runs and distribute printed copy as required.
Ensure all poster sites (hotel, spa, playbarn, leisure, toilets etc) have current posters in place and where relevant brochure racking underneath is stocked and matches poster displays.
5) SOCIAL MEDIA / CONTENT CREATION - To assist in updating, formulating ideas and responding to interaction on facebook, twitter and other channels as required.
To track social media channels and online forums (youtube, twitter, facebook, tripadvisor etc) and respond as required.
To create interesting and engaging content suitable for online channels.
