​Our client is a multi award winning holiday park and leisure operator in the South West of England. Our client is currently expanding their team at their Waterpark with the first phase of their new development taking place in the winter of 2021. As a result we are looking for an experienced Duty Manager who’s looking to progress to join their team as they grow for the future.

Their Indoor facilities are open all year and include an 6 lane 25m pool, baby pool, 2 waterslides and splash zone which is a shallow beached entry Pool with 4 mini slides. Theiroutside areas open May-Sept and include 3 outdoor water slides and Seaside Pool which has 3 mini waterslides.

Within the Leisure Complex we have a fantastic Gym and Soft Play area. Our client runs a large Swim School and have an expanding membership database. Their team can exceed 50 team members at peak.

This is just not a standard duty manager role. It’s a role within one of the largest privately owned waterparks in the UK, multiple award winner at the UK pool & spa awards. It’s an exciting time to join their team as they start their 1st phase of planned development during Winter 2021 and as a result they are looking to expand their management team

Applicants must have previous experience at supervisory/ duty manager within a swimming pool. A valid NPLQ certificate and pool plant certificate is required. Swim teacher qualification beneficial

Daily responsibilities will include opening and closing the Waterpark on a shift basis. Operating pool plant equipment including completing back washes, water testing (training will be provided). Cash handling and correct use of IT systems. Providing an excellent customer focused approach and being a role model to other team members.

You will have a good knowledge of the waterpark procedures to ensure the safe and compliant running of the Waterpark. Assist with the induction and training and mentoring of team members within a team of 50.
