Our client runs a Prestigous Boys Boarding School in Oxfordshire. They are looking for a Duty Manager who will be responsible for assisting with the day to day running of this busy and successful Sports Centre operation. The successful applicant will be working as part of a team, and whilst on duty would be expected to supervise a team of Leisure Assistants and casual Lifeguards.
You must be a team player who is extremely enthusiastic, motivated and committed to customer care. Candidates will have strong communication and organisational skills. A flexible approach to working hours is essential. It would be advantageous to hold a current NPLQ and ideally be First Aid qualified, although appropriate training will be given.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop the role within particular areas of interest, for example pool or gym. For those who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, there will be the opportunity to gain qualifications in these areas.
