OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
To continually achieve optimum water quality.
To oversee the day-to-day running of the Fitness department.
Support the Spa Management Team in the success of the Operation.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Pool & Hot Tub Maintenance.
Fitness Department Management.
Presentation of Monthly Reports to include Fitness Profit & Loss.
Management of the Studio & Fitness Programme.
Ensuring Monthly Studio & Fitness Programme Reports are completed.
Instructing regular Fitness Classes.
Provide Gym Inductions for Members.
Provide Gym 2nd Induction for Members.
Provide Gym Progress Updates for Members.
Provide Client Health Assessments to include CV, Postural Analysis, etc.
Offer Personal Training (if applicable).
Complete daily Water Quality Tests of Pool & Hot Tub.
Staffing & Recruitment to include Induction Training for New Starters.
Individual & Team Meeting Leader.
Ordering – Small Equipment, Chemicals, Essence, Uniform, etc.
Stock Control.
Duty Management shifts.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Minimum of 5 years relevant Industry experience.
Fitness Industry recognised Qualifications.
Pool Plant Operators Qualification.
Previous management experience essential to include managing a Team.
Strong Pool plant experience required.
Technical knowledge of how Spa experiences operate, e.g. Sauna, Steam Room, Hot Tub, etc.
Excellent interpersonal & man-management skills.
Must have own transport.
