They were voted in the top 50 places to work in Scotland in 2020. They are currently looking to recruit a recreation supervisor to join their team.

Scope of Job:

The Recreation Supervisor will be responsible for the efficient and safe day to day running of all recreations services and facilities ensuring that the highest standards of customer service and cleanliness are maintained. In conjunction with the Recreation Manager & Assistant Recreation Manager, the Recreation Supervisor will be expected to act autonomously taking responsibility for running the department when these roles are not present.

The Recreation Supervisor will further be supported by the Recreations Strategy Support Manager & Resort Manager and will report to them respectively when the RM & ARM are not present. Weekly catch ups will be carried out by your line manager (RM/ARM) and further support given from other departments where required, HR, Systems, IT, Maintenance, Duty managers/GSM etc.

The role will be operational, with 5/5 "ON" shifts per week and possibly actual shift cover. Any 'non’-operational days may be given to ensure team development, coffee chats and communication are fully supported.

KEY TARGETS :-

  • Operational running of department, safe, clean, efficient, great service, compliant whilst achieving/improving targets

  • Maintaining correct team level targets,

  • Maintaining robust and effective team training and induction processes

  • Developing and growing the team at all levels, building a talent pipeline, reducing team turnover, motivating the team and creating good morale, work and a happy workforce

  • Ensuring sales are maximised whilst ensuring safety and customer care targets/WOW

  • Help to develop new products, improve existing with line managers

  • Assist in improving turnover at least in line with inflation annually.
