Our client is currently looking to recruit a Nursery Manager for a 40 place nursery.
Do you love the outdoors, child-led, and playful education? This is a great opportunity for someone with a serious passion for outdoor learning. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure a smooth running of the nursery to deliver outstanding child, team, and parent experience.
You will spend the majority of your days leading the team outdoors ensuring days are fun and safe, as well as spending some time working online.
Responsibilities
Be part of the leadership team and develop our learning roots curriculum and playful learning experience
Lead, train and coach the team
Be responsible for routines and logistics
Ensure compliance and develop daily procedures, health and safety and safeguarding of our children
Lead on parent experience
Responsible for Ofsted matters
Continuously find innovative solutions to improve the nursery
What we are looking for:
Minimum level 3 childcare qualification
Experience working and managing early years settings
Passionate about outdoor education (Forest School Qualifications ideal - if none we’ll help you get them!)
Confident in dealing with health & safety and safeguarding of children
Well versed in all things EYFS
Knowledge and understanding of learning methodologies and pedagogy
