​Our client is the UK market leader in full service premium health, fitness and leisure solutions. They are currently looking to recruit a field based Swimming Pool Technician to overview their sites based across London and the South East.

To fulfil operational field work and support the Head of Maintenance in the management and development of the maintenance department.

Swimming Pool Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair and maintain swimming pools, water systems, filter systems & pumps.

  • Maintain the proper chemical balance for the pool.

  • Maintain the pH and Chlorine values for good water quality.

  • Maintain the pool and all water features using proper chemicals and cleaners.

  • Maintain the pool pumps and filters.

  • Maintain the pool area including cleaning of the deck and other maintenance tasks.

  • Respond to swimming pool related work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery or equipment.

  • Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment.

  • Clean and service swimming pool filtration units.

  • Service heating, circulation and de-humidifier systems.

  • Service and maintain steam room and saunas

  • Service and maintain water features and associated equipment.

  • Monitor and manage site service schedule given at start of each month

  • Attend to call-outs as when instructed and to the time phase imposed.

  • Report to HoM (Head of Maintenance) immediately before putting anything out of order

  • Report to HoM immediately if parts are needed.

  • Return all paperwork to Head Office and e-mail all photos to HoM within in 24hrs

  • Immediately raise awareness of any customer dissatisfaction and report to HoM.

Skill Requirements:

  • To review all maintenance procedures and policies including work sheets, part ordering, training, van stock and tools with the HoM (Head of Maintenance).

  • To undertake service work in line with daily requirements as assigned. Order parts required where applicable

  • Responsible for the support to maintain the levels of service expected by our client and customers

  • An ambitious individual that is self-motivated with a positive and resilient outlook that is able to demonstrate analytical skill for continuous improvement and is willing to go that extra mile.

  • Have a good level of commercial and customer awareness that is committed to success that puts the customer at the centre of the operation whilst ensuring good business practice.

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 4 years practical experience within the swimming pool technician/maintenance field. You must have a full and valid driving license for this position.
