Our client operates a range of exclusive hotels across the picteresque Lake District region. They are currently looking to recruit professional and dynamic Sous Chef to join their team.
We are looking for someone who is a strong team player with a proven track record and has the ability to motivate others. You must have good organisation and communication skills in order to support and deputise for the Head Chef. This is the ideal position for a candidate who has experience in a 2 Rosette (or above) establishment and is looking to take the next step in their career into a high quality Hotel/Restaurant as Sous Chef.

Smooth running of entire food operation in Chef’s absence
Aiding in the innovation of all menus
Man management and assisting in staff training
Communication with Reception department regarding availability of menu items etc.
To observe and carry out daily duties in accordance with Health & Safety at Work Act, Fire Regulations and Hygiene Regulations.Observation and adherence to COSHH Regulations is also required.
To aid in the identification of training needs for yourself and the team as a whole and to participate in and carry out some "on" and "off the job" training.
