Our client is a global leader within the Functional Fitness Equipment field. They are an innovative, progressing and industry leading operator, who are currently looking to recruit a UK Business Development Manager to join their senior management team.
To take the lead role in delivering the revenue targets set for an agreed list of UK customers. To deliver a high standard of customer service and sales administration to all customers. To maximise the UK teams capacity and the markets potential to effectively manage and process customer quotations/orders and maximise revenue potential in all areas of responsibility. To proactively deliver CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to best practice and in accordance with Company expectation and standards. To work with the UK team to deliver the department objectives according to the strategy set by the Shareholders.
Responsible for driving sales growth within the UK market. To develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income.
Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.
To work with marketing on the content required to present our clients business and their concepts in an effective and consistent way.
To work with the NPD team to identify trends, improve product development, and ensure they stay ahead of the curve.
To work with the purchasing team to make sure the right product is available at the right team for the designed list of accounts.
Ideally we are looking for candidate with a strong demonstratable track record of success in driving sales within the UK marketplace. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years field sales and new business development experience, within the fitness and leisure industry. You will ideally have experience in dealing with National Chains, Local Authority, and Corporate customers.
