An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Active Lifestyles Advisor to join our clients sports and wellbeing offering, to support the development of their health and wellbeing offer to their educational Community.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a gym/fitness environment and will possess a recognised Fitness Instructor Certificate. Additionally, you will possess qualifications enabling you to teach a range of group-workout classes. Alongside gym and fitness experience we are looking for an individual with a passion for wellbeing and health. Experience of developing and delivering programmes targeted on improving mental and physical wellbeing would be beneficial to this post.
For this role, there is a need to communicate well with a variety of customers. Good organisational and administrative skills are also needed, with the ability to promote College sports facilities and services. The role is ideally suited to a person who is highly self-motivated, who can manage their own time, and who is able to prioritise tasks effectively.
This is a customer facing role, and as such the successful applicant must be ready to communicate with a diverse range of customers and demonstrate a strong commitment towards ensuring excellence in customer service and enhancing the customer experience and ensuring that all areas work in accordance with Departmental and the University requirements and agreed standards.
The post is full time (35 hours p.w.) and applicants must be willing to work on a rota, covering evenings and weekends on a 5 out of 7 day contract.
