Our client is a leading operator of exclusive hotels across the pictersque Lake District. They current have an exciting opportunity and are looking to recruit a Deputy General Manager for their hotel in Keswick.
An exciting opportunity to manage the activities of the Food and Beverage department to improve productivity, food quality and service to increase volume, sales and profits.
The successful Deputy Manager must be financially astute and commercially well informed, with a hands-on attitude to the business.
The ideal candidate for this position:
• Will be proactive with a commercial approach to the business who can drive the sales and marketing strategy and demonstrate a record of accomplishment.
• Will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a F&B Manager or Deputy General Manager in the 3/4 star hotel sector. Operational experience in a Spa would be advantageous
• Will be an excellent motivator and leader of people, with a good track record of holding a team • Will have the desire and potential to be a General Manager in the future.
• Be a self-starter who has the capacity to operate with little supervision and is not afraid to lead from the front in a fast-paced environment
