Our client is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of their nursery. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in childcare and education, who is ready to take on a leadership position and ensure the nursery operates to the highest professional standards.

As a Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for all financial operations, recruitment, and the ongoing training and development of staff. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the nursery’s reputation for excellence and fostering a nurturing environment for both children and staff.

To excel in this role, you should have:
- A Childcare and Education qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3
- A higher-level qualification in Early Years Childcare and Education/Childhood Studies
- A management qualification
- A current First Aid qualification
- A sound knowledge of childcare development from birth to five years
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role in the delivery of services to young children

Key responsibilities include promoting partnerships with parents and carers, maintaining professional relationships with local authorities and regulatory bodies, managing occupancy and budgets, and identifying and addressing staff training needs.
