​We are recruiting for a Food and Beverage Manager to join the team our clients luxury 4-star 65-bedroom hotel situated on the spectacular South Devon coast.  Part of the exclusive Pride of Britain hotel collection. The hotel includes the 2 AA Rosette Restaurant, Voyage Spa, 9-hole golf course, The Village Inn Pub as well as a range of sports facilities.

About the role

The Food and Beverage Manager will work closely with the hotel’s General and Deputy Managers, taking a hands-on guest facing role throughout the hotel’s food and beverage operation, supporting and developing our people, product, processes and profit.   Responsible for the overall day to day running of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets which include the 2 Rosette Restaurant, Cocktail Bar, Terrace, Lounge and a seasonal pool side bistro.  You will ensure that standards are met, revenues are maximised and guests’ satisfaction is delivered consistently.  You will be an ambassador for the brand and hotel, providing leadership and strategic planning in support of our service culture, operations and guest satisfaction targets.

  • Proven experience working as a Food and Beverage Manager in a luxury 4- or 5-star environment

  • The ability to multi task and exceptional time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Be motivated, driven and passionate about the hospitality industry

  • Excellent knowledge of food and wines to enable development of our offering

  • Ability to manage budgets and meet agreed KPIs for wages, spending and liquor GPs

  • Experience in recruitment and an ability to respond to the seasonality of business

  • The ability to train and develop a team of 40 staff during peak seasons
